Ownership and license records

FrameHalo respects creators and rights holders. Third-party images remain owned by their respective rights holders and are published only when a source and usage basis have been recorded.

The FrameHalo name, interface, original text, code, and editorial organization are separate from third-party image rights. A license record on an image page describes the information available to us and is not a transfer of ownership.

Who may submit a request

A copyright owner or a representative authorized to act for the owner may submit a removal request when they believe content published on FrameHalo infringes their rights.

Information required

Include your full name or organization name, a valid reply address, and your relationship to the rights holder.

Identify the original copyrighted work and provide an original publication URL, registration record, source file, authorization document, or other evidence that allows us to verify the claim.

Provide the exact FrameHalo page URL and identify the specific image or material you want reviewed.

State that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or applicable law, and confirm that the information in your request is accurate.

Review and action

After receiving a sufficiently complete request, FrameHalo may temporarily disable access while reviewing the claim. If the claim is verified, we may remove the content, correct attribution or license information, or take another appropriate action.

We may request additional evidence, contact the content source when appropriate, and keep a record of the request and action taken. A request lacking the exact URL or proof of authority may not be actionable.

Accuracy of notices

Do not knowingly make false claims or misrepresent your authority. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for any consequences arising from a fraudulent or abusive notice.
